My Services
I offer three fully customizable packages for dogs of all ages to best meet your needs: Private Coaching, Private Tutoring, and Behavioural training. Choose your program and take steps to find joy with your dog!
Private Coaching
This 4 session service is for families who want step-by-step guidance and demonstrations to teach your dog skills that will best suit your lifestyle. The focus is on coaching you on how you can train your dog with weekly sessions and homework in between. The behaviours taught are fully curated to your needs and can include recall, mat/place, drop it, target, door dashing, down, stay, loose leash walking, puppy nipping, comfort with handling, and building engagement with you.
The 4 sessions can be used within 5 weeks time (which gives you leeway if life gets busy!) to ensure you get the most out of consistent training. We meet once/week where I demonstrate and teach new behaviours and coach you and your dog, followed by a session summary and homework you can do throughout the week.
Note: dogs with specific behavioural needs (e.g., leash reactivity, stranger danger, fear, anxiety, aggression) might not be eligible for the Coaching package and might require behavioural support.
The Coaching package is $600 for 4 one-hour sessions. Additional dogs in the home are charged at a rate of $50/hour.
Here’s what’s included:

✓ Follow up summary emails and/or videos of all demonstrations
✓ Troubleshooting tailored to you and your dog’s individual needs
✓ Video analysis of your training between sessions (if desired)
✓ Email, telephone, video, text support available during your 5 week window
Private Tutoring
This 4 session/week service is perfect for busy families who want the peace of mind of a well-rounded family dog but who don’t always have time for consistent training. For Tutoring packages, I do the homework for you and work directly with your dog in your home to expedite and strengthen behaviours 3 sessions/week. Then I meet with you and your dog for 1 coaching session/week to demonstrate how you can maintain skills at home. The skills we teach are fully curated to your needs and can include foundational skills (recall, mat work, down, stay, door dashing) or specific skills like loose leash walking.
Note: dogs with specific behavioural needs (e.g., reactivity on leash, stranger danger, fear, anxiety, aggression) might not be eligible for the Private Tutoring and might require behavioural support.
The Private Tutoring package is $560 for 4 sessions/week. The number of weeks depends on needs and previous learning experience.
Here’s what’s included:

✓ 1 one-hour coaching session/week to demonstrate how to maintain behaviours at home
✓ Demonstration and coaching of all skills and techniques

✓ Troubleshooting tailored for you and your dog’s individual needs
✓ Video analysis of your training between sessions (if desired)
✓ Email, telephone, video, or text support available within training weeks
Behavioural Training
This is for dogs who experience big emotions like fears, phobias, car anxiety, or frustration. Or for dogs who pull, bark, growl, and lunge at other dogs, people, bikes while on leash. Behavioural training includes a comprehensive in-person assessment, and an individualized training plan tailored to your dog’s specific needs. The focus will be on creating confidence, trust, and safety, empowering you to manage challenging situations, and empowering your dog with skills that will help them feel safe.
Packages are carefully curated for your specific needs and your dog’s unique situation. Building trusting relationships between dogs and their people and working with, rather than against, the underlying emotions that drive behaviour, have the best outcomes for long-term change.
The initial comprehensive 90-minute assessment is $165 then each session thereafter is $150/hour. The number of sessions depends on the severity of the issues, number of triggers, complexity of the behaviours, and initial assessment. Additional dogs charged at a rate of $50/hour
