I’m Nikoo!
I’m the owner and founder of Wiggle Bottom Canines and a Certified Training Partner with the Karen Pryor Academy of Animal Training and Behavior, with a PhD in ethics. My goal is to help families overcome challenges and connect with their dog through joy using the most effective training available!
My Journey
My journey into dog training started by completing the teacher training program at Naughty Boyz Dog Training. Through the program, I gained hours of valuable hands-on experience working with dogs of different ages, breeds, and backgrounds. I shadowed different trainers and received direct 1:1 mentorship.
I continued my animal training education at the world-renowned Karen Pryor Academy, the industry’s gold standard for dog training and behavior. I graduated from KPA with distinction and a renewed purpose for helping dogs and their humans navigate the overwhelming and unregulated world of the pet care industry.
Today, I work with dogs of all ages and breeds, and offer everything from puppy basics, to advanced training, to behaviour modification. I use the most effective and ethical positive reinforcement, force-free training for the best, long-term results!

My passion for ethical training stems from my PhD, grounded on a deep understanding and respect for animals. With a solid foundation in animal training, behaviour, and ethics, I’m proud to continue refining my knowledge, skills, and practice with the latest innovations in the field to best serve my families!
Why Wiggle Bottoms?
Because learning is more effective when it’s fun! The name Wiggle Bottom Canines is inspired by the fun, happy dog body language I love to see when training – wiggly little bottoms, excited to learn and have fun.
