I’m Nikoo!
My name is Nikoo and I’m the owner and founder of Wiggle Bottom Canines! I started WBC because I know how hard it is to find effective, trustworthy training advice so I wanted to simplify the search because dogs and their families deserve the best.
My Journey
My journey into dog training started after struggling to find accurate, reliable dog training advice to give my dog the best life possible. The more I researched, the more I became fascinated with all things dog!
I knew I wanted to help other families create lifelong memories with their pups so I successfully completed the teacher training program at Naughty Boyz Dog Training and gained hours of valuable hands-on experience working with dogs of different ages, breeds, and backgrounds. I was then accepted into the prestigious Karen Pryor Academy, the gold standard for dog training and behaviour. I graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy with distinction and a renewed purpose to help dogs and their humans navigate the overwhelming and unregulated world the pet care industry.
Today, I work with dogs of all ages and breeds, and offer everything from puppy basics, to advanced training, to behaviour modification. I use the most effective and ethical positive reinforcement, force-free training because I believe that dogs and their families deserve the very best!
I Believe in Ethical Training
My passion for dogs stems from my PhD in ethics, and from studying and teaching animal ethics. I have a long-standing commitment to the guiding principles of positive reinforcement and make sure to keep my knowledge, skills, and practice up to date with the latest innovations in the field to best serve my families!
Why Wiggle Bottoms?
The name Wiggle Bottom Canines is inspired by the fun, happy dog body language I love to see when training – wiggly little bottoms, excited to learn and have fun!
